The system is a cruise control setting for low-speed trail driving and relieves the stress of constantly adjusting throttle and braking when  off-roading.

This feature assists the driver by reducing the vehicle’s turning radius in a low-speed, technical off-road environment that requires large steering input. This is accomplished through application of negative (Brake) torque to the inside rear wheel of the turning vehicle. Trail Turn Assist heightens off road fun by reducing the driver’s effort required to negotiate difficult off-road terrain.

The system enables very low-speed crawling and the ability to stop the vehicle without using brake pedal. When the driver lifts off the accelerator pedal, hydraulic brake torque is applied automatically bringing the vehicle to a stop.

The system delivers a throatier, powerful engine sound that further adds to the truck’s muscular design and roaring performance. It is a sound that unmistakably belongs to the F-150 Raptor.

That is why, the F-150 Raptor’s 37 Performance Package comes with 37-inch BFGoodrich® All-Terrain T/A® KO2 Tires – the largest factory-fitted tires in its class for better approach, departure and break-over angles as well as ground clearance. These tires look even more powerful on unique 17-inch forged aluminum bead-lock capable wheels. Using the bead-lock conversion kit you can deflate the tries for maximum traction off-road, yet they hold tightly to the rims. Moreover, there’s a spare mounted under the bed.
